Tony Fiore

Anthony "Tony" Fiore (portrayed by Brian Markinson) was a corrupt Buffalo Police Department detective who murdered his colleague and friend with the help of two other corrupt detectives for money.

Biography

In 1985, Tony wanted to steal Triad money during the gang war with the help of two other corrupt detectives, Rudolph Barbala and Leon Felder. He wanted help from his partner Charlie Morris, but Morris refused, so Fiore and his accomplices murdered him and then made it look like the Triads were responsible, shooting him in the head, dismembering his left arm, and gouging out his right eye. Soon after, he married Charlie's widow, Anita.

Nine years later, Charlie's spirit, reincarnated as Michelle Bishop, who was born at the time of Charlie's death, began to take revenge on his killers. He first killed Barbala by throwing him out of a window in the Buffalo police station. FBI Special Agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully visited Tony to ask him about Charlie. He continued to claim that Charlie had been killed in revenge for the arrests of the Triad dealers. Later, he visited Felder, who had become an insurance agent, and expressed his fears, wanting to get rid of the money. Felder threatened him to keep quiet, but Tony warned him off. That evening, Charlie strangled Felder to death on a bus. Panicked, Tony fled. He returned home one night to look for Anita and escape together. However, Charlie/Michelle was waiting for him at home. He attempted to kill him telekinetically by pinning his legs with an electric wire and then stealing his gun. Charlie/Michelle then unleashed her fury, angry that Tony, her friend and partner, had not only killed her but had also married his widow. Tony told him that he just had to take the money and that he didn't want Rudolph and Felder to kill him. Enraged, Charlie/Michelle began beating him with objects in the room, such as a poker or a vase. Tony eventually confessed that he had helped murder Charlie in front of Anita, Mulder, and Scully. Although he confessed, Charlie/Michelle still wanted to kill him, but Anita eventually talked him out of it, instead destroying most of the objects in the room with telekinesis before leaving Michelle's body for the afterlife. Tony was later arrested and confessed in federal court to charges of first-degree murder, robbery, and obstruction of justice. (TXF: "Born Again")
