Fisherman
来自 X-Files Wiki
The Fisherman (portrayed by Henry Beckman) was an elderly lobster fisherman from Amma Beach, Maine, who worked on board the "Working Girl" alongside his shipmate and fellow lobster fisherman Rich Turner.
Biography
While lobstering, he was present when his shipmate Rich Turner discovered an old doll in one of their lobster traps. Rich gave it to his daughter, Polly as a gift. Unbeknownst of him the doll was somewhat alive and had a malevolent consciousness equipped with several uncanny skills. Shortly after finding the doll, Turner became its first victim by impaling his own head on a hook where he was found by the fisherman.
If the doll was empowered with evil through witchcraft or "simply" possessed by an unspecified evil entity remained undisclosed but the old man survived a second encounter with it some time later at the Amma Beach Grocery Store where it forced him as well as the other customers and employees to try to scratch out their own eyes and even made Dave the Butcher stabbing himself dead with one of his knifes.
After the incident he was visited by local PoliceCaptainJack Bonsaint and FBI-Special AgentDana Scully whom he told about the initial finding of Chinga the Doll and the sinister events he witnessed. (TXF: "Chinga")
