DNA

DNA or deoxyribonucleic acid is the major container of the genetic information. It is an organic polymer built from four major types of monomers called nucleotides (A-adenine, G-guanine, T-thymidine and C-cytosine). Sequence of the nucleotides defines the genetic coding for the protein and RNA components of living cells and viruses.

The ultimate goal of the Project was to fuse human and alien DNA to create an alien/human hybrid. (TXF: "One Son")
